From the beginning, the American people have supported the freedom of conscience and rejected the concept of an authoritarian state-established church denomination. We no longer have freedom from this sort of tyranny. Because of liberal federal Supreme Court majorities, local public school boards have been forced to allow instruction from the God-rejecting secular religious point of view. The tyranny of judicial corruption and the subsequent loss of citizen control over the soft sciences in public schools has led to cultural devastation.
Secularized schools’ instruction challenges the sensitivity of students’ consciences. Creator-rejecting Darwinian revisionism is taught as if it is an irrefutable science. The absence of Higher Authority-based American Charters in American public school curriculum is causing students to be undemocratic Democrats and undemocratic Republicans. No positive improvement can occur as long as teacher unions have the power to collect mandatory dues from teachers whose salaries are paid by a forced tax on the citizens.
The people in Communist Russia were subjected to a secularized education monopoly. After 70 years the empire collapsed. Mikhail Gorbachev, leader of Russia from 1985 to 1991, tried to save it with economic reforms, including the incentive to work that was destroyed by socialism. Mikhail Gorbachev, United Nations Forum, December 7, 1988, “The compelling necessity of the principle of freedom of choice . . .. This objective fact presupposes respect for other people’s views . . ..” (George P. Shultz, Turmoil And Triumph, Scribner’s Sons, New York, 1993, p. 1107).
Rabbi Sol Roth explains the tragic mental disconnect that occurs when ageless biblical principles for civil behavior are forced out of education. He calls it “functional segregation.” Students are victims of mentally crippling education that substitutes men for Creation’s God. Science becomes knowledge apart from moral values; consequently, morality has been steadily eroding in America. Functional segregation in classrooms is harmful to religious faith, making the family and community irrelevant.
