Vital to American Work Ethic, Property Ownership Must Be Secure
The people “…are entitled to life, liberty and property…” (Declaration, First Continental Congress, 1774).
“Our wish is that…[there be maintained] … the state of property, equal or unequal, which results to every man from his own industry, or that of his fathers” (President Thomas Jefferson, Second Inaugural Address).
Limit Government Power and Taxes for Liberty’s Sake
“…imposing Taxes on us without our Consent…” (Declaration of Independence).
“Liberty and security in government depend not on the limits, which the rulers may please to assign to the exercise their own powers, but on the boundaries, within which their powers are circumscribed by the Constitution” (James Wilson Lectures, p. 179). The Federalist No. 10, written by James Madison, condemned taxing the thrifty and financially independent citizens for purposes of leveling. He condemned this practice, advanced by old European secular philosophy, as “improper” and “wicked.”
Life, Liberty and Happiness, Humanity’s Goal
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness” (Declaration of Independence).
Benevolent Provision and Heart of God for Man is Recognized
“And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our Sacred Honor” (Declaration of Independence).
The Constitution was clearly patterned according to the Genesis 1:1-based Declaration for civil liberty. To teach that the Constitution is a secular charter demonstrates education at its worst, a Genesis 3:4-5 worldview deception.
References to the Creator-based Declaration of Independence and Divine Providence in the last paragraph of the Constitution are the American classroom basis for In God We Trust public education. The tyranny of high-minded law schools and judges to change the meaning and intent of OUR laws and force an exclusivist top-down mindset on society should be stopped. It is the Higher Authority Genesis 1:1 and 1:31 approach to governance that reversed the historic tide of tyranny from man-made law throughout history.
