Norris Recommends the Bible and Four Books With Relevant Studies

The Practical Benefits of Christianity by David Barton, a Christian historian (WallBuilders, P.O. Box 397, Aledo, Texas 76008).

Turning Point, A Christian Worldview Declaration by Marvin Olasky and Herbert Schlossberg. Olasky was a Communist in academia. He left the Communist party in 1973, and in 1976 became a Christian after reading the New Testament and Christian authors (Crossway Books, Westchester, Illinois 60153).

Dark Agenda, The War to Destroy Christian America by David Horowitz who left his parents’ faith. His parents were Communists and worked as teachers (www.humanixbooks.com).

The Mainspring of Human Progress by Henry G. Weaver, The Foundation for Economic Education, Inc. A humble overview of the specific advantages associated with the higher authority “In the year of our Lord” based Constitution. As the states’ became united, they ratified the federal Constitution that restricted education to local citizen control in the states.

These four books describe how and why God-rejecting intelligentials want the power to control education and will do anything they can to get it. The Dark Agenda book, pages 37–38, describes the horrendous mistake Congress made when trusting the design of the new $621 million U.S. Capitol Visitor Center to self-anointed God-rejecting education intellectuals. They gutted the Visitor Center displays of anything that tells the truth about the American Constitutional originalism. Secular militants in State Universities now teach what Communists Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin promoted—an evolving worldwide evolutionary utopia.

Marx and Lenin recognized that honest thinking can be done only in words that accurate thinking requires—words of precise meaning. Like underground serpents, they use surreptitious (hidden) tactics to confuse the vocabulary. Victims of deception themselves, liberal majorities on the Supreme Court adopted “new” Case Law. “New” humanist soft science professors, rejecting Creation science, plant their atheistic ideology in the minds of trusting victims. This controls what their victims will actually practice in the future. Abraham of the Old Testament chose to reject pagan religions and chose instead to worship the ONE God of Creation.

Communist bosses in Russia provided the God-rejecting rope by which empires, such as the Socialist Republic of Russia, perished. America will perish if our United States Supreme Court is not convinced to eliminate Fascistic union control of teacher tenure laws. Then, and only then, We The People can employ teachers who respect the “in the year of our Lord” Constitutional originalism.

During the Joyous Christmas Time is When We Celebrate the Birth of Christ

A woman asked me why our society is in such conflict. I told her that we love evolutionary militants because they are made in the image of God, but they have successfully demanded control of education and, by eliminating Creation Science, are blindsiding vulnerable youth. While destroying themselves, they are also undermining responsible liberty in America. Many public school teachers quit, and, at great personal cost, millions of parents are sending their children to Creator-based private schools.

One of the teachers of history wrote:

“Nineteen wide centuries have come and gone and today He is the centerpiece of the human race and the leader of the column of progress. I am far within the mark when I say that all the armies that ever marched, and all the navies that ever were built, and all the parliaments that ever sat, all the kings that ever reigned, put together have not affected the life of man upon this earth as powerfully as has that One Solitary Life.”

  • HE CAME TO REVEAL THE INVISIBLE GOD. John tells us, “No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared Him” (John 1:18). Jesus brought God to us in human flesh. Jesus Christ is the perfect exhibition of God Almighty. That is why wise people follow His leading (John 10:30, 14:9; Philippians 3:10).
  • HE CAME AS THE CREATOR, PROVIDING UNIVERSAL COSMIC ORDER KNOWN TO RELIABLE EDUCATORS AS CREATION SCIENCE. “The birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked with the birthday of the Savior. The Declaration of Independence laid the cornerstone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity” (John Quincy Adams, Oration on the Sixty-First Anniversary of the Creator-based Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1837).
  • HE CAME TO PROVIDE A SACRIFICE FOR SIN. John writes, “And ye know that He was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin” (I John 3:5). We are all sinners; no one can argue against that. None of us can die for the sins of others because we have sins of our own. So Jesus, who had no sin, took our place on the cross and died for our sins. The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin” (I John 1:7). (Hebrews 9:26).
  • HE CAME TO PROVIDE AN EXAMPLE FOR BELIEVERS. Of course, we often fail. The Ten Commandments’ morality, and Golden Rule, brings joy to life (Exodus 25:21; Matthew 7:12).
  • HE CAME TO PROVIDE THE REDEEMED WITH A HIGH PRIEST. “. . . that He might be a merciful and faithful high priest . . . to make reconciliation for the sins of the people” (Hebrews 2:17). So Jesus, the wonderful High Priest, died on the cross for our sins, then was raised up and has ascended into heaven where He intercedes for us before the throne of grace! (Hebrews 4:14-16). So, whenever I have a need, or fail Him with some sin, Jesus, our great High Priest, prays for us and represents us to God. This assist gives believers a tremendous advantage (II Cor. 5:19; Hebrews 7:25).

Several decades ago, Sara Norris (about age 12) and her dad, David Norris, a Constitutional originalist, visited the Supreme Court Building in Washington, D.C. Another daughter, Sharon (Norris) Thompson, is the blogger for Heartland Foundation, Inc. Transcript typed by Sara (Norris) Skinner, 11/16/19.

From Fox News on the appointment of Neil Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court:

Shannon Bream: The Supreme Courts. For millions of voters it was the deciding issue of the 2016 election. And, soon after taking office, President Trump nominated Neil Gorsuch to be one of the nine justices who serve in this building.

The first television interview with Gorsuch since he was nominated to the nation’s high court. A revealing conversation about his life, his philosophy, and his new book A Republic, If You Can Keep It. But, we start far away from Washington, D.C. to the Gorsuch’s home state of Colorado with a story about his nomination.

Neil Gorsuch: So, two young men were sent out from Washington to collect me and my wife, uh, for the announcement. And they showed up on a Sunday evening, I think, and I was out mowing the lawn. And Louise invited them to stay for supper, and so they did. And they went off to a motel for the evening to come get us the next morning.

Shannon Bream: It was supposed to be hush-hush.

Neil Gorsuch: The president, though, that morning at 8 a.m. tweeted: “Announcement: tomorrow night at 8.” And at that point it seemed like every media truck in America descended upon the potential nominees’ homes. And we had a crew outside our single row (or road) out to the main highway camped out. I mean, they had lawn chairs and vans and the works.

Shannon Bream: We come prepared.

Neil Gorsuch: You came prepared! Prepared.

Shannon Bream: The two guys from Washington did not.

Neil Gorsuch: They realized they couldn’t get in. They were in their suits and in a rented car. And they realized they couldn’t—there was no way they could get in. So, they went to Walmart and got some duds that they thought might be more natural for the countryside, but still felt like they were going to get caught.

So they called us up and said, “Would you mind hiking out? There’s a trailhead a mile away. And we’ll pick you up there.” Well, my wife’s roller-bag would not make it through that hike. So, I said, “Guys, no. I gotta, I gotta…I’m not going to do that.”

My neighbor said, “Neil, I grew up in Iran during the revolution. And I would never buy a house where there’s only one escape route. [Gorsuch] See that horse track? I’ve driven it.”

Shannon Bream: The Gorsuchs’ neighbor-turned-getaway-driver however told Louise Gorsuch that he needed time to get ready.

Neil Gorsuch: And so we went out by way of a bumpy horse track, a couple of miles through the countryside and met up with the kids from the East Coast to make it to Washington.

Louise Gorsuch: We flew into D.C. and we arrived two hours ahead, and we arrived to a dinner party. And I walked in, and I suddenly had this moment of self-awareness, like “The Emperor’s New Clothes,” (ha-ha) I’m still wearing all the same clothes I mucked out in the barn that morning.

Shannon Bream: That’s a great story!

Neil Gorsuch: He calls it “Escape from Lookout Ridge.”

Shannon Bream: Did you ever imagine all those years ago when you met your husband, you would end up in this kind of moment in the history of this place?

Louise Gorsuch: No. No, absolutely, absolutely not! Are you kidding?!

Fox News Report: We’re continuing our Fox News special coverage of the death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.

Neil Gorsuch: Well, Justice Scalia and I agreed on an awful lot of things. And I admire him greatly. And he was an enthusiastic fly fisher.

Justice Neil Gorsuch: Why Originalism Is the Best Approach to the Constitution

Originalist teaches only that the Constitution’s original meaning is fixed; meanwhile, of course, new applications of that meaning will arise with new developments and new technologies.

Living constitutionalists often complain we can’t know the original understanding because the document’s too old and cryptic. Hardly. We figure out the original meaning of old and difficult texts all the time. Just ask any English professor who teaches Shakespeare or Beowulf.
